Our Purpose

Our purpose is to bridge the gap between the potential of young adults with SEN and the opportunities available to them. By fostering entrepreneurial thinking and digital literacy, we strive to create an environment where every individual has the tools for success and the chance to contribute meaningfully to society.

Our Target Groups

  • The project is committed to serving young adults with SEN, including those diagnosed with dyslexia and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
  • We also focus on adult trainers and educators specializing in SEN, providing them with updated methodologies and resources to enhance their teaching practices.

Our Intellectual Outputs and Deliverables

The Power Up Project is deeply committed to its mission of enhancing the educational and professional prospects of youth with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our consortium is dedicated to creating a transformative impact on the lives of these young individuals by developing tailored educational solutions that bridge the gap between their potential and actual opportunities.

By the end of the project, we are planning to deliver a series of intellectual outputs that are meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of our target group. These include:

  • Comprehensive Educational Modules: We are developing six blended microlearning modules that cover essential topics like entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and social skills development. These modules are being crafted based on direct feedback from our focus groups and questionnaire responses, ensuring they are both practical and applicable to real-world scenarios.
  • Interactive Digital Platform: To enhance accessibility and engagement, we will launch an interactive digital platform that hosts all educational content and provides an intuitive learning experience for users. This platform will feature multimedia resources, including video tutorials and interactive activities, to cater to the diverse learning preferences of youth with SEN.
  • Training Guides and Toolkits: For educators and trainers working with our target group, we will provide comprehensive training guides and toolkits. These resources will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deliver the project's curriculum and support the unique learning needs of their students.
